Christopher Ward and Falk Watches have just opened showrooms at 3130 Fairview Park, Falls Church, Virginia. No, it is not a joint venture, just a very happy circumstance that has made these two outstanding watch vendors neighbors in The Time Bum’s own backyard.
D.C. watch afficandos already know that the metro region is a hot spot for watch collectors. I’d say the outstanding turnout at the annual District Time shows demonstrates our level of enthusiasm while the dedicated membership of the D.C. Red Bar chapter, the DMV Watch Club, Watchingtonians, and NoVa Watches and Coffee knits the community together throughout the year.

Christopher Ward’s North American Brand Director, Michael Pearson, noted this energy when the brand first participated in District Time. That experience led him to explore the region as a location for the English watchmaker’s second U.S. showroom. The brand ultimately settled on this D.C. suburb.
“Opening our new showroom in Falls Church has been a truly special moment for us,” said Pearson. “The location couldn’t be better—right at the heart of the D.C., Virginia, and Maryland watch communities—and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the kindness and enthusiasm of everyone who has already booked an appointment. We’re so thankful for the welcome and can’t wait to share this special space as a place where people can come, connect, and discover the world of Christopher Ward.”

The Christopher Ward Virginia Showroom is open by appointment only, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Saturday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Clients will get a full hour to try the brand’s collection in a friendly, relaxed environment, guided by the showroom manager. If you decide to purchase, your watch will be sent to you directly from Christopher Ward, and because you completed the transaction in the U.S., the brand will pay all shipping and import duties, thus offering a significant advantage when compared to purchasing online.

In contrast, Falk Watches came to the space in a very different way, as its owner, Ethan Falk, is already a Northern Virginia native. He is also the founder of the DMV Watch Club and has extensive experience with vintage timepieces. With a wide selection of pre-owned watches, Falk Watches will be an ideal neighbor for Christopher Ward. “Starting Falk Watches has been a dream come true for me, and being able to open a physical location in a building like 3130 Fairview Park is unbelievable,” said Falk. “I can’t wait to start meeting clients and showing our amazing watches.”
Falk’s inventory is as eclectic and irresistible as a table at the best watch meetup. The site currently includes watches from Rolex, Kurono Tokyo, Omega, Ming, Seiko, and Citizen. They are all fascinating, and range in price from $200 to $27,000.
These showrooms are an exciting development for the metro D.C. watch community. You can book an appointment at Christopher Ward through the brand’s website. The Falk Watches showroom is currently under construction and is expected to be open for appointments by year’s end. In the meantime, you can shop their inventory here and sign up for more information.
