District Time 2022 – This Weekend!

District Time 2022 is almost here! On March 5-6, 2022, we will descend upon the District Architecture Center at 421 7th Street NW, Washington, D.C. with exhibitors representing over two dozen brands. Our doors will be open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is free and no tickets are necessary, just walk on in.

With Covid levels dropping fast through the DC metro region, the city has dropped the vaccine requirement for indoor events. While we certainly hope you are taking sensible precautions, I am pleased to announce that we will not be checking vaccination status at the door, which should make things much easier for everyone.

Bespoke Watch Products Intaglio

We have a great line-up this year. Bespoke Watch Products will have their Intaglio Edition Watches available, including a special blue radial dial watch created to be given away at the show. Mondaine will show their newest collections and have some give some away as well. McDowell Time will have the new Maxton V2, which you can buy and/or win at the show a full ten days before its official launch date.

Tsao Baltimore Legacy

Hager Watches will attend along with Maryland Watch Works. Tsao Baltimore will no doubt bring the 2021 Microbrand Watch of The Year winning Legacy. Origin will be back with their traditional field and railroad watches. Traska will have its newly updated collection. Lesablier will bring the new Chronosport.

We’re looking forward to seeing Formex, especially their new Field collection. If you haven’t seen the Bremoir Lexington in person, then you are in for a treat. Also, be sure to check out the lovely Haim Legacy and Descent. When you hit the Swiss Watch Company table, ask about the new Hyper-G.

Saturday will be your only chance to see Direnzo, and Ocean Crawler (with Esoteric). But then on Sunday, Little Treasury Jewelers takes their place. They are authorized dealers for Grand Seiko, Nomos, Bremont, and Orion among others, and always have an amazing selection for sale.

Our friends from Nodus will not be present this year, but they are sending the as-of-yet unreleased Avalon 2 as a giveaway prize.  Lucky winners may also go home with a Draco London Awakening Chronograph, or leather watch accessories from Choice Cuts Industries.

Singapore seems to be home to every other microbrand on earth, and while travel restrictions have made it difficult for those brands to attend in person, District Time will still feature some of the best. RZE, HVD, Zelos, and Ventus will have their collections at the show for display and/or purchase. RZE will have special District Time pricing and swag. You will also get a sneak peak at RZE’s prototypes for their next release. Vario has sent two excellent Vario 1918 Trench Watches (38mm and 40mm) to be given away on Saturday and Sunday.

Towson Watch Company Choptank

District Time has always featured watches from a wide range of price points. For 2022, we will welcome several brands from the higher end of that spectrum, from the unique cerates of ArtyA, to the rugged dive watches of U-Boat, to classic designs of Vulcain. Maryland’s own Towson Watch Company will be there with an amazing selection of fine timepieces hand-crafted just an hour from our show venue. Ollech & Wajs will bring their impressive tool watches and if you fancy something watch-adjacent, then you should definitely check out the remarkable creations of the Eagle Pen Company.

Once more, our media partners AboutTime and iW will be on hand with free magazines and other watch publications for you to enjoy.

Update: We will welcome Hemel and Sovrygn Watches to the show!

It’s promising to be a fun weekend and very accessible. The District Architecture Center is located in D.C.’s Penn Quarter neighborhood, conveniently located to both public parking and the Chinatown/Gallery Place Metro station.

We’ve all been cooped up for too long, so shake off those wintertime blues, bring your friends, and come geek out on some amazing watches.

We’ll see you there!
