We don’t often post about watches we don’t already have in our hands, but sometimes, when a brand we know and trust is releasing something special, we’ll let you all know it’s coming. This is one of those times, because Nodus Watches just dropped the Sector Deep Pioneer, an evolution of a watch we already love.
Nodus developed the new watch with an anonymous partner, who clearly had a good idea or two. The new watch retains the old Sector Deep’s case and general layout but adopts a caller-style NH34 GMT movement, a 24-hour index, a compass index (here’s how that works), and, of course, an all-important fourth hand in a contrasting color. The result adds function without cluttering the already excellent dial.
Fans of the original will be pleased to see that Nodus retained the Sector Deep’s distinctive small case (38x47mm), big bezel (42mm), and destro crown. The watch is rated for an insane 500m water resistance. It is equipped with an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a 20-16mm bracelet with the proprietary NodeX adjustable clasp, and Swiss BGW9 Grade A Super-Luminova on the face, hands, bezel, and crown.
The Nodus Sector Deep Pioneer Admiral (Navy) and Forge (Black) are $625 and available for order on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 9:00 am Pacific Time and will begin shipping on Friday, the 23rd. Head over to noduswatches.com for more.
